Data Management Assistance Corporation, a leader
in the data capture software industry, has acquired
five network based software products from Extensions
Software. DMAC data capture software products
are the leading solutions of their kind in the
data capture field. DMAC's aim is to utilize its
14 years of successful marketing experience to
boost sales of the new software from Extensions.
Extensions Software is a development
and publishing company that has been involved
in the creation and marketing of low-cost, easy-to-use
network software products since 1991.
Extensions' founder and president, Gary Beam,
has over 25 years experience in electrical engineering
and computer programming and has written database
application programs for several computer and
industrial manufacturing companies. He has authored
three applications programming books, a monthly
application development newsletter, and various
computer magazine articles.
DMAC's new network based software products will
be marketed by its NetBased Software division
and includes an in-out board to track employee
whereabouts, a telephone directory, a log-on notice
program to keep employees abreast of current company
information, a program to post bulletins to all
or select network users, and an employee/project
work time tracker.
DMAC President and CEO, Fred Tarbox says, "These
are much needed, down to earth network based products
that will enable us to leverage our existing personnel
